The client is the largest commercial property development and investment company in the United Kingdom owning and managing more than 24 million sq ft of commercial property.
The client’s platform team has made significant strides in automating resource provisioning and environment management over the past 18 months. However, due to limited cloud expertise within the DevOps team, they sought an assessment to validate whether their infrastructure setup aligns with industry best practices and if the right tools and approaches were chosen for long-term success.
[Our approach]
As a solution, the Godel team provided a consolidated summary, detailing the assessed areas and describing the current state, alongside a thorough list of recommendations for improvements. The summary included a prioritised and estimated backlog of recommendations, outlining the steps needed to address key issues. Additionally, a delivery plan was created to guide the implementation of the proposed improvements, with a Proof of Concept (PoC) included to demonstrate the tangible benefits of these changes.
